Graduated at the Art School in Bergamo, she has studied at the Carrara Academy of Fine Arts for two years. From 90s she has started a significant collaboration with "La Bottega del Gombito", an artisan workshop in Bergamo Alta, and at the same time she has devoted her whole life to painting. Katiuscia has depicted various poems and short stories for the editions “Pulcinoelefante” by Alberto Casiraghi, and for the editions “Quaderni di Orfeo” by Roberto Dossi. She also participated to numerous collective exhibits in Brianza.

Firing or photographing utopia: this is the dual meaning of “shooting”.
Against the glossy utopia popularized through the art world system.
Against art business patronized by the art market and promoted by the academies.
Against artists who, from a beautiful and privileged position, make works and claim them as social denunciation. In these three situations, we want to shoot.
To rediscover the power of artistic creation as an existential fact.
To consign to utopia our presence in the world.
To reaffirm the history of the defeated as a source of inspiration.
These three situations we want to photograph.
We are an anonymous and irregular collective. The core of our project is the desire to equip a virtual space that is only a mirror of what happens in reality. We want an open space, not conditioned by the false democracy that extols art for all.
This project includes three macro areas:
The first area consists of the creations of member artists;
The second area encompasses critical reflections on works and exhibitions;
In the third area, we want to facilitate knowledge about contemporary art through a database from which to draw bibliographical information and critical content.
All this is the S.U.P. - Shooting Utopia Project - which refers to the word “soup”: a collective of artistic experiences, precisely, in a soup acquiring its flavour from the union of different factors.
Not only that, S.U.P. also refers to the acronym “sup” - Stand Up Paddle - which is a metaphor for the board upon which we want to cross the endless sea of artistic creation.
All this is Shooting Utopia Project. However, it can be much more thanks to anyone who joins our project.
